Pro Work Flooring and General Contractor ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it under Florida and federal law.
Information We Collect
When you submit an estimate request through our website forms or email us at hello@proworkflooring.com, we collect:
- Identifying information: name, phone number, email address, postal address (or ZIP code), service location.
- Project information: service requested (flooring, tile, bathroom or kitchen remodeling, countertops, cabinets, etc.), project description, room and surface details, square footage, timeline, current conditions, and qualifying details you provide.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp of submission, and form anti-spam metadata (page-load timestamp, honeypot field).
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or biometric data through this website.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit only to:
- Reply to your estimate request and schedule a free in-home visit.
- Prepare a written, line-item estimate matched to your slab, humidity, and room.
- Pull any required permits with Florida municipalities under the Florida Building Code when your project needs one.
- Communicate about scheduled work, change orders, manufacturer warranty registration, and post-installation follow-up.
- Maintain internal records as required by Florida contractor and tax recordkeeping requirements.
Information We Do Not Sell
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not sell, rent, or share your name, contact details, or project information with marketing companies, lead-aggregator services, or competing contractors.
Information We Share
We share information only with:
- Florida municipalities when pulling Florida Building Code permits required for the work you authorized.
- Manufacturer warranty registries (flooring, tile, countertop, and surface manufacturers) for products installed at your property, with your authorization.
- Subcontracted specialty trades on a need-to-know basis when a specific scope requires it (rare — most work is run in-house under one project director).
- Government authorities as required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry).
Cookies & Analytics
This website uses minimal first-party cookies for site functionality (form anti-spam timing, modal session state). We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking on this domain. We may add analytics in the future; this policy will be updated with at least 30 days' notice if so.
Data Retention
Estimate requests that do not become projects are retained for 24 months and then deleted. Active project records are retained as required by Florida contractor recordkeeping and IRS rules. Manufacturer warranty registrations are retained for the life of the applicable product warranty.
Your Rights Under Florida Law
Florida residents have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements (active project files cannot be deleted before the retention period expires).
- Opt out of all non-essential communication.
- File a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services if you believe we have mishandled your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@proworkflooring.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
Security
Estimate submissions are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.3) and stored on a server with restricted access. We use industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but make reasonable efforts.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change this policy, we will post the updated version here and update the "Effective" date at the top. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
